Sure, things are different for obvious reasons. I still can't sleep on my stomach or lay flat on my chest, so that has been a huge adjustment. I've been woken up by Bob to tell me to roll on my side, numerous times ... and I have managed to wake up in some very interesting positions (after what must have been my attempt to sleep on my belly while trying to protecting the new boobs). Thankfully, I have a snoogle pillow which is a pregnancy pillow, but it's been a life saver for comfort reasons. I think sleep, has been one thing that has changed quite a bit since surgery, as I tend to have to wake up a couple times a night to "adjust". I am sure over time, this will subside ... or at least I hope it does! On a positive note...Tarver seems to enjoy my snoogle about as much as I do!!
Today also marks the 2 month mark of starting a new job here in Houston. It feels really good to get back in the swing of nursing/working, even with an early wake up call of 4:30am. I've been fortunate to have found a nursing job with fairly good hours, no nights/weekends/holidays, and great coworkers/managers.
Bob and I are excited to travel to Boston in a couple of weeks to celebrate my brother/sister in law's baby shower! We can't wait to spoil our soon-to-be-born nephew! We will also be celebrating a wedding of a dear friend of ours in Chicago in March.
I hope you all are well and 2013 has gotten off to a great start for you!
